MATTHEW C. JAMESON

Matthew Jameson focuses on business litigation, creditor’s rights, construction law and acts as an outside general counsel. He represents businesses and individuals in state and federal courts throughout the state of Texas. Mr. Jameson maintains a broad litigation practice. He regularly handles cases involving contract disputes, recovery of collateral, mechanics’ lien claims and payment bond claims, deceptive trade practice claims, promissory notes, open accounts, guarantees, payment disputes as well as landlord tenant disputes.

Mr. Jameson handles cases from inception through trial and beyond. On a regular basis, he is tasked with turning judgments into actual successful recoveries for his clients. Mr. Jameson regularly assists clients in locating assets via post judgment discovery, depositions and investigations. He has also developed an expertise in utilizing the various post judgment remedies available to creditors in Texas such as garnishments, turnover orders and receivership.

Additionally, Mr. Jameson acts as outside general counsel to small and medium sized businesses. He regularly assists clients in buying/selling businesses, reviewing contracts, drafting contracts, negotiation, entity formation, liability management, managing corporate governance, employment issues and debt collection. His duties as outside general counsel also include litigation management and counseling clients on best practices for receivables management.
