CHRISTOPHER J. JAMESON

At one time or another, every business has a receivable problem. Businesses come to Chris when they can’t collect money from their customer. Chris’ practice is focused on business litigation, creditor’s rights and commercial collections. He manages a large active litigation docket and routinely files lawsuits throughout the state on behalf of commercial creditors. His resume includes breach of contract, mechanic’s and materialman’s lien claims, commercial insurance premium disputes, open account, lease disputes, domesticating foreign judgments and representing creditors in bankruptcy cases.

Often, once a judgment is obtained, the game has only begun. One of Chris’ areas of expertise is judgment enforcement. He earns his client’s trust by turning judgments into cash. He has mastered all of the Texas post judgment remedies. He is well versed in the Texas exemption statutes, which enables him to quickly evaluate the collectability of a receivable pre and post judgment.

He is a frequent lecturer for credit professional groups on topics related to commercial collections, judgment enforcement, credit policies and procedures and receiverships. He routinely advises credit and finance departments on credit applications, personal guaranties, security agreements and mechanic’s and materialman’s lien rights.

Chris lives in Dallas with his wife, Dr. Kelly Jameson, and their three children. Time away from work is spent coaching his children’s sports and supporting his beloved Kansas Jayhawks.
